Ep 8 was just okay. I’m curious who the demon clan is preparing to fight against.
It is the best episode of Solo leveling so far, Baran vs Jinwoo broke alot of records. The demon castle story will be revealed later, not in second season though.
Why didn’t Sung Jin-Woo raise the Demon King Baran as a shadow?
Because he can’t, demons are not real, they are simply made by the system for jinwoo to level up besides baran is a monarch, and monarchs can’t be turned into shadows.
Also in demon castle no demons can be extracted as shadow, since their souls are contaminated

Nope, they are creations of the system, and the system has certain limitations put on these demons and beasts.

Is Solo Leveling turning into Hunter x Hunter? With the Ant King’s birth, this is giving serious Chimera Ant arc vibes -_- Could this be our version of Meruem???
No, it’s bit different, in Chimera Ant arc nobody was strong enough to take down the King, even chairman failed, while in Solo Leveling, we have our sung jinwoo and no its not equivalent to Meruem
Yeah, but it still gives off HunterxHunter vibes. The Ant King is being hyped as this unstoppable force, just like Meruem was. I get what you’re saying, but the concept is pretty similar to the Chimera Ants, don’t you think?
